My quote of the day:
"You don't have to start from scratch to do something interesting. You don't have to start from scratch to have a massive impact on the world. You have to have a good idea. You have to convince other people of those good ideas. And you have to push as quickly as possible." —Jack Dorsey"
After yesterday's beautiful weather, the rain is back...but I guess it's not too bad for a cozy Sunday at home. I woke up and made brownies (I love the smell of yummy baking early in the day on the weekends), and took a hot bubble bath. My husband and I have done a few chores around the house-- we hung up a new HomeGoods mirror find in the bedroom, and he's re-wiring some of the sound in the living room right now.
To lounge around today, I'm wearing one of my all time favorite comfy shirts-- a white peasant blouse from Anthropologie (I got it from one of their 50% off sale events a few months back), navy pants (Target), and my cozy purple slippers (from a small boutique in Carmel-by-the-sea, CA). I love comfy clothes, but sometimes I want to feel like I got dressed a little bit more than wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt, which is why I like this kind of outfit. I don't have a ton of nice, yet comfy pants though, so any recommendations there are definitely welcome!
Enjoy your Saturdays everyone!
xo,
Shannon
